"Portraits," a Stanford Taiko Spring Concert

Once again, Stanford Taiko is proud to present our annual spring concert, "Portraits." Taiko is the Japanese art of ensemble drumming. Those who have seen Taiko can testify to the intensity, power, and rhythm that define the art form. Our concert has these elements in full, while also exploring the full dynamic range of our drums with softer and more melodic pieces. Our concert features all original compositions, including three composed this year.
