Our biggest event of the year is just around the corner! We're pulling out all the stops this year to duplicate the fabulous event last year. We are thrilled to announce an encore recital by Canada's own St. Lawrence String Quartet (SLSQ). We also expect several notable Provincial and Canadian government officials to join us for the celebration. Come and make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and celebrate Canada!
The tentative schedule for the event is:
6:15pm - Reception,
7:00 - Performance by SLSQ,
8:00 - Catered Thanksgiving dinner on the patio,
Dress is "west coast" semi-formal.
We're expecting this to be a very popular event as it has been in the past. Our http://www.evite.com/rjorr@stanford.edu/thanksgiving">Evite can accommodate the first 150-people.
The SLSQ is graciously donating their time for our event and the dinner is being sponsored by The Graduate Student Council, The Billie Achilles Fund, and the Bechtel International Centre and several other private and government sponsors to be named in the program.
