Feminist scholar Michele Wallace, who authored

the controversial book "Black Macho and the

Myth of the Superwoman" in 1979, and has since focused attention upon the invisibility and/or fetishization of Black women in the gallery and museum, as well as on many other issues through her cultural criticism will present her current work.

Presently, Wallace teaches in the English Department at the Graduate Center of City University of New York (CUNY).
