"Where Culture, Law and Medicine Converge: Minorities and Forensic Psychiatry"

How do forensic psychiatrists work with patients of color in courtroom settings? Where do medicine and the law intersect? The minority experience with the law has always been problematic--and forensic psychiatry adds yet another layer of complexity. Two talks and a panel discussion by the Honorable Edward J. Davila, State of California Superior Court, Santa Clara County, and Dr. Michael Lara, Psychiatrist and Medical Director of the Gardner Family Clinics, San Jose.
