Weeks Lecture features Anne Fausto-Sterling (Brown University Professor of Biology and Gender Studies)

Anne Fausto-Sterling, Professor of Biology and Gender Studies at Brown University, will give a lecture entitled, "Thinking Systematically about the Emergence of Gender." This is the second lecture that she will give at Stanford as the Marta Sutton Weeks Visitor (November 2-12, 2003). The first lecture is/was Monday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Fausto-Sterling is the author of "Sexing the Body: Gender Politics and the Construction of Sexuality" (February 2000) and "Myths of Gender: Biological Theories About Men and Women" (1992).
