Anthony Montanino: Recent Paintings

Fifteen oil paintings representing Montanino's two distinct subject matters: urban landscapes and figuratives of jazz and blues musicians.

Montanino's work is in many public and private collections including those of Madonna, the San Francisco Hilton Hotel and Kaiser Permanente.

Montanino studied with Jack Ogden at California State University, Sacramento, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He has had numerous solo exhibits and was the recipient of the California State Fair Award of Excellence in 1989, 92, 96 and 1998. In 2002 he was awarded the Sacramento Contemporary Arts Award.
