Join us for this special centennial commemoration of DuBois' most famous book! Arnold Rampersad will serve as chair of the program, making a few remarks before introducing the other speakers, each of whom has written about and/or taught this very important text. Speaking will be Arnold Rampersad, Sara Hart Kimball Professor of English and author of The Art and Imagination of W.E.B. DuBois, Michele Birnbaum-Elam, visiting Professor of English, Russell Berman, Walter A. Haas Professor in the Humanities and Professor of German Studies and Comparative Literature, and Shelley Fisher Fishkin,
Director of American Studies and Professor of English. The first fifty students in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of The Souls of Black Folk.
