Paul Ehrlich: The Environmental Future and the Future of Environmental Science

This inaugural lecture for the Institute for the Environment lecture series features Paul Ehrlich, Bing Professor of Population Studies, speaking on "The Environmental Future and the Future of Environmental Science".

Winner of numerous environmental awards, Ehrlich has authored many scientific papers and popular books, including The Population Explosion and Human Natures: Genes, Cultures and the Human Prospect. He will speak on ýThe Environmental Future and the Future of the Environmentý.

The new Initiative for the Environment promotes interdisciplinary research, provides enhanced environmental education and fosters outreach to the community and policy makers.
