In an evening of cross-cultural exchange, the all-female Urban Bush Women (artistic director Jawole Willa Jo Zollar) and the all-male Compagnie Jant-Bi of Senegal (artistic director Germaine Acogny), join forces in a new work entitled Les ecailles de la memoire ("The Scales of Memory"), exploring the deep cultural links between African Americans and West Africans.
