The Flip Side of Stem Cell Research: New frontiers of law, policy, and society

After years of waiting, embryonic stem cell research is now going full speed in California. But while the research gets off the ground, new questions emerge. Who should look after the research: states or the federal government? Will a having a new president change the funding environment in Washington? If it changes, will it make a difference? Which countries are positioned to become stem cell leaders? Which will be the laggards? We'll explore these questions and others, with plenty of time for audience questions and comment.
