Taking the Mic: Examining the Past, Assessing the Present, Envisioning the Future

Come and celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this historic event. In 1968, the Black Student Union changed the course of Stanford's history by making 10 demands of equity and justice for people of color. Come and hear the leaders of that movement reflect on the experience and critically examine Stanford's progress 40 years later. Sponsored by African & African American Studies, Black Community Services Center, and the Black Student Union.
