The Ethics of Food & the Environment Series/Kirsten Tobey (Founder Revolution Foods) and Tom Robinson (Lucile Packard Children's Hospital)

The opening event for the second year of a series of public talks, seminars, and films that explore the ethical issues surrounding food production in the U.S. and around the globe.

Revolution Foods' mission is to get healthy foods into local schools. Tobey will talk about her motivation for starting Revolution Foods, what steps the organization takes to get the food into the schools, and what obstacles they continue to face. Robinson will address the consequences of childhood eating and activity habits on childhood health, as well as risks for adult disease.
