Dan Barker - "Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists"

Dan Barker spent nearly two decades as an evangelical missionary before gradually "outgrowing" his religious beliefs. Today he is co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes separation of church and state, the removal of religion from public life, and public awareness of atheism.

Mr. Barker's new book "Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists" tells his remarkable loss-of-faith story. The book will be on sale at the event and a book-signing will follow.
