Be the Change You Wish to See (An Introduction to Buddhist Practice)

As students, we are full of visions and dreams to change the world. Yet too often we are brought down by many of the circumstances that make us feel so powerless, that we are merely being dragged by the tough reality.

We would like to invite you to share and discuss together the ways to empower ourselves, to materialize our dream, and to encourage our friends to do the same. We would also introduce the way of empowerment in Buddhism, specifically, the power of faith in our inherent life force. By coupling spiritual strengths into our actions, we can surge through waves of hardships and contribute to the external environment in the way we would wish to see.
