Asian American Art with Gordon Chang

Gordon H. Chang, Professor of History and codirector of the Stanford Asian American Art Project, will be discussing the book Asian American Art: A History, 1850-1970 (Stanford University Press, 2008), the first-ever survey exploring the lives and artistic production of artists of Asian Ancestry active in the United States before 1970.

The presentation will also discuss the upcoming Asian American art exhibit at the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
