Professor Marta Tienda, to discuss critical issues in immigration research and policy. Even if you know nothing about immigration issues, the symposium will reveal the unique lens through which each social science discipline approaches them. You will leave the Sophomore Symposium thinking beyond units and course requirements and be better prepared to choose the major that's right for you.
