Daniel Dennett is the co-director of the Center for Cognitive Studies and the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University. His academic work and many popular books deal with philosophy of mind and philosophy of science, particularly evolutionary biology and cognitive science.
Dr. Dennett is also a noted skeptic of religion and the supernatural. His most recent book, "Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon," argues, and lays the groundwork, for the scientific study of religious belief.
