Ottoman Art : Ebru and Tezhib

The program will include a short introduction to the classical Ottoman art of water marbling (Ebru), opening to the auditorium the inner meaning which the Sufi tradition has endowed it with. Afterwards the invited Ebruzen (ebru-master) will illustrate the process by producing several pieces. The rest of the program includes a Tezhib exhibition (Ottoman paper illumination) and a free discussion section with Mediterranian food, Turkish tea and sweets.
