TECH BRIEFINGS: Servoy R2 - database solutions made simple

Servoy is an application development and deployment environment heavily focused on database applications. Servoy consists of a powerful GUI designer, fully event driven and scriptable through JavaScript to help you build your applications much faster than in any other development environment.

The Servoy R2 Product Suite is based on Java and runs on all popular platforms including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris and Unix. Users can connect to any data source on any platform that supports a JDBC or ODBC connection. Products include Servoy R2 Developer - for creating user interface elements; Servoy R2 Server - an application server to handle database connections and concurrency in multi-user settings; and Servoy R2 Client - a zero deployment client that will run the completed applications.

A representative of this Dutch company will be here to demo the product and answer your questions; we'll also hear from an enthusiastic user of the program right here on campus.
