Featuring Rev. James Lawson, civil rights activist and personal friend of Dr. King. Rev. Lawson was the president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference for 14 years, the organization founded by King to end racial segregation by nonviolent protest. Rev. Jamal Bryant, at the ages of 32 is the founder and Pastor of the fastest growing AME church in the nation, Empowerment Temple of Baltimore. Prior to his pastoral role, Bryant was the National Director of the Youth and College Division of the NAACP. Other panelists TBA. Moderated by Scotty McLennan, Dean of Religious Life, Stanford University.
