Israel 2004: Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean everyone is not out to get me" lecture with Herb Keinon, the diplomatic correspondent for The Jerusalem Post

Herb Keinon, the diplomatic correspondent for the Jerusalem Post, looks at how the Israeli perception of a hostile world shapes its foreign policy. Israelis widely believe that most Arabs, if given a chance, would still like to drive them into the sea; that much of Europe remains anti-Semitic; and that the UN is an incorrigibly anti-Israel bashing ground. This lecture will look at how the country's policies - from building the security fence, to the decision to agree on a prisoner release with Hizbullah - stem from the basic perception that 55 years after its birth, the security of individual Israelis, as well as the very existence of the state, remains very tenuous.
