Gandhi/King/Ikeda Exhibt reception ceremony

The reception ceremony is an extension of the Gandhi King Ikeda Exhibit, aim at a more in-depth investigation of the philosophy of peace and nonviolence of Gandhi, King, and Ikeda. The event features

- lecture on the lives and philosophy of Gandhi, King and Ikeda, by Dr Lawrence Carter - Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr International Chapel of the Morehouse College,

- video presentation :Gandhi,King and Ikeda, the Community Peace Builders will be shown.

- Community peace awards would be presented to several Stanford scholars for their distinguished contribution to promoting peace and human rights.

- Mezzo Soprano Jennifer Lane would perform an extract from the opera "The Mother of us All". It is opened to all students and faculties of Stanford.
