The HTML 5 Experiments - Bruce Lawson, Opera Software

HTML 5 is the proposed new standard for writing web pages and, most importantly, web applications. It's deliberately being designed to be an open standard that competes with Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight to be the language of web applications.

Bruce believes that if you don't vote, you can't complain about the government.

The HTML 5 spec isn't finished yet, so he decided to try to use the new language in order to see how it works in the real world, and give feedback to the working group from a pragmatic perspective rather than academic.

This talk summarizes Bruce's hair-raising adventures in The HTML 5 Experiments!!
