SCN Coho Series Presents: Will Bernard and Motherbug

A longtime Bay Area musician, Will Bernard has worked with various groups encompassing a host of genres, from jazz to hophop, and most successfully in the Grammy nominated group T.J. Kirk With Motherbug, Will Bernard has come into his own as a band leader.

The sound of Motherbug is based in a guitar/keyboard heavy blend of R&B with strong ties to the Bay Area sound pioneered in the 60's and 70's (Santana, Sly Stone, and Tower of Power). With forays into the world of electronic ambiance and a jam band attitude, the Motherbug songs add elements of lounge, surf, and anything else that gets picked up on the way, rounding it all up with solid pop hooks and a good sense of humor.
