SCN Coho Series presents: Alan Smithee

The name Alan Smithee has been around since 1967, when the Directors Guild of America needed a pseudonym to use for directors wanting their names removed from a bad movie. But soon everyoneýs going to know exactly who Alan Smithee is, at least in the music scene! Alan Smithee is a rock band poised to take the planet by storm with its combination of great pop/rock tunes and high energy stage shows.

Alan Smithee has already won multiple Battle of the Bands competitions and its members have shared the stage with acts as diverse as Something Corporate, Sarah McLachlan, Coolio, Mandy Moore, Jewel, and 3LW. The band has amassed a strong following both on the west and east coast, and its reputation continues to spread. In addition to their strong songwriting abilities and stage presence, the members of Alan Smithee all possess an undying commitment to unquenchable rocking out.
