First of four Lectures in the Architecture - Landscape Lecture Series - A Decade of Change: Campus Planning and Design

Landscape Architect, William Johnson has focused on issues of environmental design throughout his 45 year career as a planner, designer, teacher and academic administrator. Co-founder of Johnson, Johnson & Roy, a mid-west based land planning and urban design firm, he also served the University of Michigan as professor of Landscape Architecture and Dean of the University's School of Natural Resources. Mr. Johnson is now centered near Seattle. His practice continues to range across projects of community planning, urban design, long-range campus development, historic preservation and natural resource policy. He continues to paint in watercolor and oil while taking extensive trawler journeys along the British Columbia coast.
