FACES 2004 Conference "On Common Ground"
April 11-17, 2004
In recent years, China has significantly reformed its financial infrastructure to reduce the barriers and risks to foreign investment from other countries. This panel will examine what these reforms are and how they have impacted Chinaýs and Americaýs inflows of foreign capital and bilateral investor behavior. Specifically, how have venture capital firms and investment banks from each country responded to the impacts of the reforms? Given the changes that have occurred, what is the future of American foreign investment in China?
