ECJ Call for Papers!

The Stanford IEEE and Departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invite you to submit your papers to the first-ever Stanford EE/CS journal for graduate and undergraduate students. The journal will be released in late May. The best papers will receive scholarships worth $500-750.

ECJ is a professor-reviewed technical journal magazine available both online and in print, serving to 1) create awareness across disciplines within the campus technical community, 2) prepare current researchers for the publication and review process of larger journals, and 3) inspire future research by Stanford community members.

Why should you submit?

Increase the exposure of your groundbreaking research project.

Sizeable scholarship grants for the top papers.

ECJ has a rapid review process. Typical journals have long turn around times ranging from months to years.

Rare opportunity for research paper to be reviewed by top EE and CS professors in the world.

Make an impact on campus and the global technical community. Work will be displayed for peers and faculty viewing in the Terman Engineering Library.

Submission Guidelines

E-mail submissions in either word or PDF format to ieee@ee.stanford.edu by Sunday, April 18th at midnight. We are looking for two paper formats: short papers and long papers.

Short papers ? such as those for CURIS or REU project, or early stage-research ? should be 2-4 pages and can include broad survey papers as well as more specific technical submissions.

Long papers should be 6-12 pages and can include excerpts from longer papers submitted for other journals. Feel free to modify past presentations, publications, and technical writings you have submitted for classes, other publications, or symposiums for submission.
