Symposium in Honor of John Hart Ely

Renowned constitutional law scholars from across the nation will gather at Stanford to pay tribute to the work of former Stanford Law Dean and Professor John Hart Ely, one of the nation's most distinguished constitutional scholars.

The tribute will feature two panel discussions on Ely's most celebrated work: "Democracy and Distrust: A Theory of Judicial Review" and "War and Responsibility: Constitutional Lessons of Vietnam and Its Aftermath."

Breakfast and lunch will be served.
