Stepping Up: Actions to Improve Asian-American and Pacific Islander Health

The Asian Pacific American Medical Students' Association(APAMSA) will be holding its 2004 Western Regional Conference entitled "Stepping Up: Actions to Improve Asian American and Pacific Islander Health." Dr. Samuel So, Professor of Surgery at Stanford and director of the Asian Liver Center, and Dr. Arthur Chen, medical director of Alamedia Alliance for Health, will address specific health issues of the Asian-American community. Workshops provide a forum for discussion on topics of domestic violence, mental health, advocacy, and many more.
