Everything you wanted to know about Jazz!

Ever wonder what you're missing when you listen to a jazz band? Does a jazz fest or club schedule make you scratch your head? We hear you. During our wonderful weekend of "musical introductions," Stanford Jazz Workshop founder, director (and alto saxophonist) Jim Nadel will lead a fun and informative session wherein your questions will be answered. Backed by a quintet of wonderful local musicians, Jim will demonstrate the basics of jazz listening. We do mean "basics" and we do mean "fun." So come on out to laugh and learn as we introduce you to the ABC's of jazz.
