Satoro Oda & the Vince Lateano Trio

West Coast swing meets Far East bop in this collaboration between accalimed Japanese tenor saxman Saturo Oda and San Francisco drumming wizard Vince Lateano. Oda is a revered veteran of the vibrant Japanese jazz scene. Known for his warm, Lester Young-influenced bebop style, Oda, for many years teamed with piano great Hank Jones. Vince Lateano has been a driving force on the San Francisco jazz scene since 1966. With his snappy, classic bebop drumming, Lateano is always in demand. Beside leading his own groups, Lateano has played with greats like Woody Herman, Cal Tjader and Bruce Forman. Lateano will lead a trio of top Bay Area players.
