This documentary on the Soka Gakkai organization's development in Japan, illustrates the Soka Gakkai's pioneering work for the sake of people's happiness, based on the spirit of Nichiren.

Featuring many photos and film clips of early Soka Gakkai activities, it also portrays the resistance met by the organization in response to its efforts to oppose state authoritarianism and empower ordinary citizens.
