Dayna Stephens Group

Though not yet a household name, Dayna Stephens is one of the most exciting young tenor sax players in the Bay Area. He performs with an energy, dexterity and personal warmth that allows him to deliver gratifying, commanding jazz. A product of the Bay Area, Stephens attending the prestigious Berkeley High School, then won a full scholarship to Berklee School of Music. Next came studies at the Monk Institute with Wayne Shorter, John Scofield and many more. Stephens' performance here, with members of the SJW faculty, showcases a truly singular talent—an intriguing young star on the rise.
