The Commandment We Forget

Please join us for a talk by Julien Smith on 'The Commandment We Forget'.

'Life never slows down. Despite an ever-increasing supply of time-saving inventions, we find ourselves busier, more anxious, more weary and often despairing of the prospect of a more sane existence. We often find ourselves enslaved to the expectations of friends, supervisors, programs or the world at large. Yet we forget that God has already provided the means of deliverance...'

Julien is InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) staff at UC Berkeley in the Graduate and Faculty Ministry. He and his wife, Hope have been on staff with IVCF for the past decade at UC Santa Cruz and St. Mary's College. Julien has a BA (French and Slavic Languages and Literature) from UC Berkeley and an MA (Biblical Studies in Theology) from Fuller Theological Seminary.
