"The Poor," written and directed by Anna Kerrigan

In a disintegrating Bourgeois apartment in the 17th arrondissement in Paris, a 15 year old girl has lived an isolated existence in a fantasy world crafted by her and mother. When the daughter escapes from the apartment for the first time in ten years, their delicate world is fractured. The mother must find a new person to control. With the appearance of Sebastian, a part-gypsy prostitute in his mid-twenties, the three characters are forced to explore the meaning of intimacy.
