A Reading by Anne Carson, The Mohr Visiting Poet

Anne Carson was born in Canada and teaches ancient Greek for a living. Her awards and honors include the Lannan Award, the Pushcart Prize, the Griffin Trust Award for Excellence in Poetry, a Guggenheim fellowship, and the MacArthur “Genius” Award.

As part of her stay at Stanford as the Mohr Visiting Poet during Spring 2013, Anne Carson will teach a poetry course to undergraduates. This seminar is made possible with the generous support of Lawrence and Nancy Mohr.
