SPECTRUM: UNLOCKING THE INNOVATION OPPORTUNITIES

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Julius Genachowski and two members of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), Eric Schmidt of Google and Mark Gorenberg of Hummer Winblad, will be at SIEPR to discuss innovations in spectrum policy. Tim O'Reilly, Founder & CEO of O'Reilly Media Inc. will moderate. PCAST recently issued a report discussing ways to increase commercial accessibility to government spectrum. They, along with researchers and innovative companies, will discuss ways to make that happen and the potential new innovations in wireless technology that will be enabled by increased availability of spectrum.
