Chamber Music Showcase: Schumann, Schoenberg, and Schubert

Students from Stanford’s chamber music program join forces for an evening of music by Schumann, Schoenberg, and Schubert featuring Happy Dog Duo (Nathan Cheung and Eric Tran, piano), the string trio Gruppo del Lupo (William Joo, violin; Andrew Lan, viola; Anna Wittstruck, cello), and other performing artists (Peter Hintz, violin; Alessandra Aquilanti, viola; Lennart Jansson and Steven Burnett, cello; Peter Gottlieb, horn). This program showcases a range of music from Schubert’s beloved Quintet in C to Schoenberg’s intense, yet nostalgic, 12-tone String Trio, Op. 45, and Schumann’s Andante and Variations for two pianos, two cellos, and horn.
