(This announcement is for three ongoing tap classes: Friday 5:15-6:15pm, Friday 6:15-7:15pm and Sunday 5:00-6:00pm. See following for details)
The Stanford HIP and ASSU TapDance@Stanford classes begin in the first days of
October; Beginning Tap and Advanced-Beginning Tap start on Friday, Oct. 1, and
Intermediate Tap begins on Sunday, Oct. 3. You are welcome to take a free
class to see where you fit in.
BASIC BEGINNING TAP through the STANFORD HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM:
Friday, 5:15-6:15pm - BASIC BEGINNING TAP is for those with no previous Tap
experience. Starting on Friday, October 1, it runs for 9 Fridays, through
Dec. 3, in Roble Gym Room 42. To register for HIP Beginning Tap, call
650.723.9649 or go to http://hip.stanford.edu/ and click on HIP classes to
register; the cost is $65 for 9 classes.
ADVANCED-BEGINNING AND INTERMEDIATE TAP through ASSU:
Friday, 6:15-7:15pm - ADVANCED BEGINNING TAP is for people with some previous
Tap experience; not for absolute beginners. (See above for classes in
Basic/Beginning Tap.) It starts on Friday, October 1st in Roble Gym Room 42.
Sunday, 5:00-6:00pm - INTERMEDIATE TAP requires that you have a more
extensive Tap vocabulary and experience, and comfort with moderately fast
tempos. Starts on Sunday, October 3rd in Roble Gym room 42.
The two ASSU Classes will run for eight weekends, ending the weekend before
Thanksgiving. The cost of either 8-week series is $40 for students and $50
for non-students; discount available to those taking both classes. Please
