New Directions in Humanities Research: Text Encoding and Future Archives

The New Directions in Humanities Research lecture series highlights current trends in humanities computing and issues of concern to scholars working in the digital age. The fall series continues with the topic of text encoding. Julia Flanders, Brown University, chair of the TEI Consortium, vice-president of the Association for Computers and the Humanities, director of the Women Writers Project at Brown University, and a consultant at Brown's Scholarly Technology Group, will present: "Text Encoding and Future Archives."
