Power Failure: Roundtable Discussion

InterVarsity Grad Fellowship is launching a new/renewed project called Roundtables. These are lunchtime (12-1:30) forums where we can discuss how Christian ideas and faith related to the study of three disciplinary groups -- Arts & Humanities; Social Science; and Science & Technology. Anyone is welcome at any of the roundtables, regardless of field or expertise.

The Science and Technology roundtable, which begins today and meets every third Monday of the month, will read and discuss Alber Borgmann's 'Power Failure: Christianity in the Culture of Technology'. At our first meeting, we will briefly discuss the format and concept of Roundtables and introduce the book.

Please join us even if you are only interested at this point! You don't have to be a student in the Sciences or Engineering to come--you only need an interest in the topic/book. The book itself will be available at a substantial discount (40%) from the retail price. Don't forget to bring lunch.
