Faculty Lecture: Nancy Troy
Nancy Troy, the Victoria and Roger Sant Professor in Art and Chair of the Department of Art & Art History, examines how Piet Mondrian’s signature style of abstract art was made newly visible to broader and more diverse audiences after it was appropriated by couturier Yves Saint Laurent for his “Mondrian Look” in 1965, 21 years after the artist’s death.
