AUDITIONS FOR *THE FANTASTICKS* (A Musical!)

Come auditions for a spring production of *The Fantasticks* (Lyrics & Book by Tom Jones, Music by Harvey Schmidt)--the longest running musical in the world! This production will run in the Nitery Theatre, March 30-April 2, 2004. It is sponsored by the Stanford Drama Dept and Stage One Productions.

AUDITION INFO

Sign up for a 15-min audition slot in the Drama Dept. If you are auditioning for a singing part (see below for part descriptions), please prepare a song. Bring sheet music for accompanist if available. All actors will do some cold readings.

Matt: the Boy (tenor) | El Gallo: the sexy Swashbuckler / Narrator (high bari) | Hucklebee: Matt's father (bari) | Bellomy: Luisa's father (bari) | Henry, the Old Actor: Old School Shakespearean; senile (non-singing) | Mortimer, The Man Who Dies, does a lot of death scenes (non-singing) | The Mute: basically the coolest part ever. Male or Female (non-singing, dance/movement skills preferred)
