GSC Diversity Advocacy Social Event and Goal-Setting Workshop

The Graduate Student Council Diversity Committee invites you and others that share our goal of increasing the recruitment and retention of female and under-represented minority students and faculty at Stanford to join us for...

An ADVOCACY SOCIAL EVENT and GOAL-SETTING WORKSHOP

This major event is part of our progress toward

centralizing the diversity discussion already occurring in various places on campus and creating a network of students, faculty and staff that can collectively, more effectively increase diversity at Stanford.

What will our advocacy entail? We have a lot of good ideas, but so do you. Come share your experiences, network with other members of the community working toward similar goals, and find out how together we can build a grassroots coalition that makes a maximum contribution to the University's diversity discussion and action. The goals we set and our success in reaching them depends on us all.

As a highly respected American university, the posture Stanford adopts with regard to diversity sets a powerful precedent for colleges across the country. Please join us in undertaking this ambitious, collaborative drive to increase student and faculty diversity.
