TECH BRIEFINGS: Linux Tools

Come and learn how to use free open source tools for disk imaging (similar to Ghost), repartitioning (similar to Partition Magic), backup systems over the network, and many more utilities. These tools are available on many Linux bootable CDs. This session will be based on System Rescue CD for x86 (http://www.sysresccd.org/). Basic familiarity with the Unix/Linux shell is suggested. Some of the information Darren will cover is included in this pdf document: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/systemrescuecd/systemrescuecd-manual-pdf-en-20040817.pdf?download
