Inroads for Venture Capital for New Ventures in Civil Engineering: A Panel Discussion

ASCE YMF San Francisco section presents a panel discussion on the role of Venture Capital in jumpstarting new ventures in Civil Engineering. The panel discussion will discuss strategies for obtaining seed capital for Civil Engineering and related technology companies and lessons learned from specific case studies. The panel discussion will provide an interactive forum from the entrepreneur, VC and legal perspectives to understand how to approach funding sources, decide how much capital to raise, assess current trends in funding strategies, and dealing with the legal issues associated with starting new ventures.
