The College Matters Guide to Getting Into The Elite College of Your Dreams

Trying to navigate through the maze of getting into your dream college can be quite a daunting task. THE COLLEGE MATTERS GUIDE TO GETTING INTO THE ELITE COLLEGE OF YOUR DREAMS offers the guidance of 15 students, including local students Evelyn Huang & Joanna Chan, who made it into their dream colleges and can now tell you how to do the same.

The authors understand first-hand what needs to go into the process, as they have all attended the likes of Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, and other top colleges. They share their experiences and expertise about the entire process: from exploring their dream colleges to working to get in to winning big bucks to finance their education.

Features of College Matters include:

-Proven techniques for getting into top colleges.

-An approach that students can identify with.

-Help in deciding which high school classes and activities count the most for getting in.

-The lowdown on the new format SAT I, PSAT, ACT essay section, and TOEFL.

-Chapters written by students uniquely qualified in specific topics--for example, Evelyn Huang, author of the financial aid chapter, won more than $110,000 in independent scholarships.

-And more…

All proceeds from the sale of this book are being used to establish a scholarship fund. College Matters, the student run non-profit that organized the book, also gives free seminars on applying to college in locations throughout the world. See www.collegematters.org.
