Charles Ferguson, classical guitar

Retrospective concert program, featuring a work from each major period — Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical — and a set of original works by Ferguson. The Bach selections feature newly transcribed works by Ferguson, including various movements from both the violin and violoncello suites. The classical school of guitar is demonstrated in the works of Sor, Carcassi, and Tárrega. This program resembles traditional guitar programs given in the past by Julian Bream, Narciso Yepes, or Andrés Segovia.
