Stanford Symphony Orchestra, Jindong Cai, conductor

The Pan-Asian Music Festival concludes with a concert by the Stanford Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of conductor Jindong Cai, the orchestra performs the US premieres of works by Chinary Ung and Zhou Long, and selections from "Passages," a collaborative composition by Ravi Shankar and Phillip Glass. Pipa artist Xiao-Fen Min will be featured in Zhou Long's pipa concerto, "King Chu Doffs his Armour" and both Long and Ung will be in attendance for the concert.
